Um... hey, are you on Tumblr? Haha, cause I was the one who had posted that link adn stuff first (^_^)> I ended up editing an HQ version and putting it on YouTube under the name "English Verison of Mada Ue Wo" right after I had shared it on Tumblr because... y'know, a buncha Arashi fans arguing and complaining on his video when he just happens to like Quest Crew is a bit odd... :-\ Poor guy. How awkward.

Oh, and it woulda been helpful if you had posted it because the fans who are like ":-O What happened?!" would have seen there that the composers are the same instead of jumping off the rocket... haha, I feel guilty for the guy after having freaked about it yesterday because the guy who recorded Quest Crew in that video is just ignorantly and blissfully enjoying Quest Crew (^_^)> I'm just saying. But thanks for sharing the information out.

Huh? No, that video is just some guy who loves Quest Crew which is why I edited the HQ official version... after I freaked out on Tumblr in which I posted the link you posted too. Like, I went around posting that link that of the one the guy recorded cause I don't have many friends on Tumblr (but I did spread it to many people since they reposted it, but on Tumblr you can rant your feelings there so I didn't think they would comment on the guy's video). And I also posted it on aibakaland forums, wherein you can rant there so I didn't think anyone'd bother the guy but then I felt bad for the guy after I went around freaking out on people (haha, because I had been just doing homework and always leave Disney Channel on and I heard Mada Ue Wo and I was like... wtf...!? And no one else had ever mentioned it and so I thought I was going insane... I later realised it was because when I was watching it, it was the premiere of that episode, haha). So yeah... and also on Tumblr, after I had posted it, then I went and did research and took a screencap of the credits to explain that it really is the exact song since the composers are the same; but it's not going to go anywhere beyond that TV show because in the credits, no artist is listed, only the name and the composers. [shrugs] Someone also said on Tumblr that the composers actually work for Disney and Johnny's just bought their song... ? Dunno how that English-Japanese relation went since one composer is Japanese and one is English. But yeah... I just feel bad for that guy who honestly is clueless about the music and loves it for Quest Crew, cause you can even hear his awe-filled "whoa"s in the background. (-_-')>

well i think we Arashi fans should credit Drew for writing this wonderful song..haha...since he fans did credit Arashi for singing his song too...

haha...

well english or Jap. hopefully both songs will have equal popularity...

this Drew guy is a genius..definitely..for composing Mada Ue Wo and letting arashi sings it..and also the other songs he wrote for other korean pop artistes...

kudos to hym

Pretty cool. I remember watching Quest Crew on MTV when they had the dance tournaments some years ago. I remember rooting for the Asian crew because they were so awesome, and they went up against an all-girl crew too in the finals if I recall. lol Man, it's been so long since I saw them, and that one guy with half of his head shaved I remember his face. :D They ARE awesome dancers.

All in all, it's all good they have an American version since Scott was one of the original composers of the Mada Ue Wo music. I appreciate that the shared his music with Arashi because I do love listening to Arashi's version all the time. :) Wouldn't it be awesome if he did some choreography for Arashi, too? Because several of the Arashi members can do backflips so I think some of Quest's urban choreography would be do-able for Arashi and cool to see, or here's another idea, melding Quest crew's contribution in choreography with Yara Tomoyuki's choreography. Now THAT would be way beyond awesome. XD *sigh* Anyway, a girl can dream...

I only listened to it once last night before going to bed, but it sounded like the American version is slightly headed into house music territory than Arashi's version, but it makes sense though because the American version is more geared for a dance crew than for a group of singers. I like Arashi's version because of Sho-kun's rap and the great use of the violin, though I think Scott's version is also good, just different and geared for a different audience. :)

I actually also saw this yesterday too since I was watching it for Quest Crew (I love them) and I was totally absorbed into only watching them dance but then I heard the music and it hadn't really got to me yet but it sounded familiar to me and so I just kind of played Mada Ue Wo in my head and realized it was an English version of the song when it matched the song in my head, only except that it was in English xD

It sounds a little weird in the English version. I mean the singer does not sing the song as rhythmic as Arashi do, in my opinion. But I have been hoping that Arashi would dance it :(
