Date: 2010-11-15 01:54 pm (UTC)Oh, and it woulda been helpful if you had posted it because the fans who are like ":-O What happened?!" would have seen there that the composers are the same instead of jumping off the rocket... haha, I feel guilty for the guy after having freaked about it yesterday because the guy who recorded Quest Crew in that video is just ignorantly and blissfully enjoying Quest Crew (^_^)> I'm just saying. But thanks for sharing the information out.

Date: 2010-11-15 05:38 pm (UTC)yeah, poor that guy.. actually i had the same reaction, same with other fans but i nvr commented anythin inside the video.. i posted it inside my own personal blog but i edited it after i found out that Drew Ryan Scott composed the song alongside with Dapo Torimiro..
when i first heard that song, i want to have a copy of their instrumental song so that i can do an acapella version of it.. =)) but at the same time i was a bit shocked because i thought that Quest Crew used the song without credit but since im already clear about the whole thing, im hoping that fans will stop bashing the Quest Crew.. ^^

Date: 2010-11-15 05:08 pm (UTC)All in all, it's all good they have an American version since Scott was one of the original composers of the Mada Ue Wo music. I appreciate that the shared his music with Arashi because I do love listening to Arashi's version all the time. :) Wouldn't it be awesome if he did some choreography for Arashi, too? Because several of the Arashi members can do backflips so I think some of Quest's urban choreography would be do-able for Arashi and cool to see, or here's another idea, melding Quest crew's contribution in choreography with Yara Tomoyuki's choreography. Now THAT would be way beyond awesome. XD *sigh* Anyway, a girl can dream...
I only listened to it once last night before going to bed, but it sounded like the American version is slightly headed into house music territory than Arashi's version, but it makes sense though because the American version is more geared for a dance crew than for a group of singers. I like Arashi's version because of Sho-kun's rap and the great use of the violin, though I think Scott's version is also good, just different and geared for a different audience. :)
