Support Nino, Review Gantz!

I bought my tickets for Gantz online (even though there was really no reason to...), and I got an email today asking me to review Gantz. 

Anyone can do it here (though you have to create an account or log in through FB, blearg.)

Since Fandango was officially selling the tickets, the reviews might actually make it back to some important people, so I thought it might be nice if all of us who saw the movie gave Nino (and the film, of course) a good review (and maybe, if you care, suggest that the films would be better in Japanese with subtitles).

Also, buyme_arashi mentioned that imdb and rotten tomatoes are also popular sites that people in the industry check, so maybe we can try to post our reviews there too!

all the reviews I've read so far have mentioned the horrible dubs, so its not because fans wanted to hear Nino sexy voice. the dubs pretty much ruined the experience i think.

Please try to give a good review at major film voting sites like imdb, rottentomatoes, metacritic and such. it will help boost a better impression on the movie.

That's true, my friend and I were the only Nino fans in our theater, but everyone in there complained about the dub.

Hi, I think what you're doing is great. They need to hear feedback from audience. I'm sad to read from a comment above that the dub is horrible. That's exactly the reason why I refused to go to the screening this time. (Well, it's also because I'm going back to Asia soon and will have a chance to watch the original version.) It's such a shame they decided to dub it in English.

And I have a question, will Gantz be in theaters later in the US, after the premiere? I'm so confused by all the news release. Thank you in advance for answering my question.

I don't think there are plans to have a general release later in the US, though I was sort of confused when the producer asked us to watch it a lot...

They have done one night events like this for Death Note and other movies (although way after they were released in Japan), and never did a general release after them.

But if they get enough positive feedback MAYBE they will, that happens with a lot of independent and foreign films. No plans right now though.

I didnt go for the same reason. Maybe people that saw it should also post their review on viz's facebook and/ot twitter since they are the ones that probably made the decision to make it dubbed. The other company along with him is darkhorse which deals with a lot of superheroes like batman and stuff.
