Article of Tokyo Sports,< Arashi will be closing performer of saving electricity type of concert> Johnny’s agency that cancelled all of concert in March because of East Japan Earthquake plans to hold “saving electricity type of concert.” starting with Takky & Tsubasa follow with Tokio, Kat-tun… Cancelled concerts are 18 concerts of 6 artist of Tokio, Takky & Tsubasa and other total 6 artists. Staging of Johnny’s concert is spectacular using fireworks, flying and others. many fans must be curious what “saving electricity type of concert” would be. According to media, usually 3000KW electricity is consumed for 1 concert. they plan to downsize to 300kw. Event people says “basically this would be "’concert under the sun’. electricity is used minimum supplied by power generator. used only for microphone, amp, mixer. and avoid to use electric guitar, would use acoustic guitar.” what is most curious is schedule. it’s Takky and Tsubasa take point of this saving electricity type of concert on 2 & 3 April at Yokohama Arena. after this Tokio restarts their tour and Kat-un follows. it’s Arashi who closes these serials of saving electricity type of concerts. Music related people says “we plan to hold in August. it seems they challenge a cappella. I heard they are producing original song to cheer victims “風と雲と虹と”(Wind, cloud and rainbow”) ‘title is draft draft “ it seems saving electricity type concert will be plan until Arashi in August. what is importance is continuing however danger will be past. if this concert could get profit. if I’d appreciate if they donate.

  I watched this week Himitsu no Arashi-chan preview, definitively Arashi collaborate with Mickey and his friends.

Johnny’s agency announced to provide 2 electric supply vehicles and and 5 no. of 11t track. and 2000littres light oil, water and daily products. prompt aid was pleased by partial area. later, over 50 individuals and organizations request to transport aid materials. they apologized to  “we feel terrible not to be able to afford to answer your individual request.” 500M from AKB 48, 200M from Hiroshi Kume, 100M from Ichiro 80M from Hikaru Utada, 50M from Namie Amuro, 30M from Ayumi Hamasaki, 10M from Dreams comes true, various agencies and talent aid with monetary donation. as Johnny’s agency doesn't take such action, partial people blow out “why Johnny’s don’t sent any money?” Actually monetary donation is your favor this is not obligation. it seems expectation of Johnny’s agency must be big from public. Currently at Johnny’s agency, all of talent including Smap try to establish unit and sales of charity CD and having events..  Related person says “It sees as agency, ‘if we do this, we want to do something astonish the world.’ but it seems hard adjust schedule with part of talent who has tight schedule with drama shooting. it seems they can’t announce. if it’s possible this could be start taking action from this summer at least.” the monetary donation project by AKB 48 that was established soon after earthquake currently 617,691,113 yen (500M from AKB) this makes great succeed. so they are a bit delayed. but we can expect long term aid by Johnny’s talent. I expect big activities that move whole Japan removing group frames. (um maybe Johnny’s talent might already donated secretly like Smap. it’s sad it seems like competition these day)

Johnny’s agency says “this is true that they have donated. but this is as their feeling so we avoided to announce.” they admit donation but they don’t announce the amount.

I don’t feel anxious. I don’t have it. for example. however I got offer of job. well, tentatively I try it. then “I think while I do” I often do so. (grin) So lately… well, anxious… um. but, me I can say anything. Lately after all as I paint, err I don’t want to miss it, in my mind, yep. then, fail, I don’t know what I missed. but I have this kind of thing. Lately, err… according to this quote, I paint somewhat getting worry and having anxious, yep. but I paint believing in myself, yes. Nuclear plant has a lot of problem, water with high radioactivity leaked from generator. 4 of generator are no sign of restore. so far over 10K death, and over 10K are still missing. I pray hard we will be restored! In Tokyo cherry blossom start blooming. soon spring.

it seem like Johnny must give much bigger than any other people..
i just hope people will stop doing this meaningless things such as comparing who s better or have bigger heart, the most important thing is everyone is doing their best to help and not only bygiving money but also other different method like transportation, foods, oil etc which also very important..

who knows if other JE talent decide to donate secretly like SMAP did without making a big media deal...
we don't really know, but most of them must have done something by now to help and they will also participate in the special project and it is definitely for long term run to help Japan recovery...
im sure the project will be great and hopefully JE would be able to match the schedule of all the artist to work together for this first..

I understand why the random person might think Johnny hasn't given enough compared to the other agencies but the immediate need for the people up there was something that they did give-- water, personal items, 2000 liters diesel fuel (which was already scarce and expensive), electric generators, heavy trucks, batteries, things that are practical and useful as soon as they roll up. Donating x amount of money is something that they will do as well.

I think it's much better not to say in public if you donated this amount of money if you really just want to donate. I think the boys (Arashi) already donated but they just don't want to disclose it to the public, I agree with yamakaze-san. It's so generous for SMAP to donate that much and I salute them for not saying anything in public. I think Johnny's E donated MUCH MORE than the other companies with all those things they bought and add the shipment. Maybe they're really planning on something big to get enough money to give to the Red Cross. :)

Wow there's just so much in your post worth mention. But although Johnnys aren't giving cash (yet) they seem to be doing a lot. Even the members are helping any way possible. Koki of kattun personally went and delivered food stuff at a shelter and johnnys is planning a free concert just to relieve the tension/misery victims are feeling. Sometimes money isn't everything, its not needed. What's needed is kindness and the warmness of people's hearts.

The Nuclear Plant problem is really big and everybody is worried, but all we can do is pray for it to be solved and pray for the safety of the workers - they are really brave! Keep the faith, Yamakaze-san and, please, take care of yourself!
This charity competition is really disgusting... Why does the media make a fuss about this matter? All the help is great and is needed - it is pointless to be comparing... It would be better just to praize who is helping... U.U

Personally, I think Arashi had already donated a large amount secretly.
After all, wasn't it Sho-chan himself who said that what the disaster areas need most now is monetary donation?
How could he advice something if he won't do it?
Ever since he said that, I had set my belief that Arashi had already donated and aside from that, they are exerting effort to do more.
Arashi members, as I have known them, are really really humble.
They won't brag about something like donating however much money it is.
I think they would rather do their part quietly than have their every move followed and accounted for.
I believe in Arashi and I will continue believing in them.
They are just some of the kindest people I've ever known and they cry even for people who are not related to them.
I also commend Johnny's for donating in kind and not in cash.
People need to survive and they cannot survive on money alone.

And oh, BTW, I love today's AD.

I was under the impression that Arashi members have already donated money. Didn't they say so in their message right after the earthquake, the one where they listed the small things they had started doing? They didn't have to announce the amounts they donated. If they summed up the monetary and in kind donations talents of JE and the company itself has given, it would most probably be past a billion yen already as cash donations from SMAP and J-Storm exceed 500 million already. Having the artists or their managements announcing amounts donated (as opposed to media outlets finding out) seem a bit tacky.

That “Fear is often worse than the danger itself.” quotation that Oh-chan gave in the Discovery is very cool (Oh-chan sounded like Master Yoda when saying it ^_^).

On the other hand, the media attempt at turning celebrity donation into some sort of competition.. that is not cool.

Proud of what SMAP Nii-san did. I am sure other JE artists have done the same thing as well. Proud of all the JE boys (and Uncle Johnny; and the company in general). Otsukaresamadeshita, People ^_^
