Iwanuma-shi Tamaura elementary school gets a visitor!

On the 2nd of May, a certain friendly visitor dropped by the Tamaura elementary school in Iwanuma, a city located in the Miyagi prefecture which is one of the areas affected by the recent disasters (in fact, it was near the epicenter of the earthquake and tsunami). Can you recognise who this is?



It seems that Kaibutsu-kun showed up at the school on a surprise visit to cheer up the kids there with a sweet gesture of support. People are speculating that it wasn't meant to be a publicity stunt, since no announcements were made about his appearance and everything was kept extremely hush hush. As you can see from the picture above, it looks to be snapped on the sly when no one was looking.

Not only that, if you look at the official blog from the school you'll find a vague entry made on the same day alluding to many people coming in from afar and distributing curry meals to all the children there. The entry ends with a suggestion to ask the children themselves for their various thoughts and feelings on what happened that day.

i agree ohno has a soft heart so i think this might be his idea and the jimusho might have helped him, i think ohno is a thoughtful person and sometimes impulsive, he has shown this a lot of times-like what he did on some episodes of mma like when he felt that they were'nt able to grant the grandpa's wish that he voluntered arashi to be the member of the rowing team & when he learned that the granpa & grandma didnt have any wedding ceremony/pictures he thought of surprising them w/ a wedding ceremony

this is just my opinion, so whatever the truth maybe im just proud to be fan of this guy, he's one in a million

I think that it was hush hush, because in those matter they don't need special treatmen, and media attention,.. its for kids, just kids who are in 'hard' situation, and camera and all those is not needed.
because media made it like how great they are,(we know it without themxD) and it could change in situation where others would wrote that they do this only for public, and media attention. (+ lots of fangirls = big mess:))
