Kami-sama no Karute Australian Premiere!!

So guys, I posted previously about Gantz 1+2 being included in the line-up for the Japanese Film Festival in Australia but they've just announced another piece of exciting news!

KAMI-SAMA NO KARUTE HAS ALSO BEEN CHOSEN TO PREMIERE AT THE FILM FESTIVAL THIS YEAR :D

At the moment, it has only been officially confirmed to be showing at the Sydney & Melbourne line-ups so I'm sorry if I got your hopes up if you're from another state ><"

But keep your fingers crossed, because they're still announcing titles for each of the states!

Here's the dates again for people who missed it:

Adelaide: 3 - 17 September 2011

Sydney: 17 - 27 November 2011
Melbourne: 29 November - 6 December 2011
Perth: 29 September - 7 October 2011
Brisbane: 1 - 4 November 2011
Canberra: 9 - 20 November 2011

I will keep you guys posted on updates on whether Gantz 1+2 and Kami-sama will be showing in the last 3 cities listed!

Of course, the movie will be in Japanese with eng subs :)

Edit: Updated with dates for Perth, Brisbane and Canberra! Film lists have not yet been released for these cities though.

It's moments like these that I wish I lived closer to a capital city. And even they don't show the japanese film festival films in QLD. Oh well, maybe I'll just have to go for a holiday :P

It's a 1.5 hour flight... I think. Haha I have made the trip many times but I seriously can't remember how long it takes. I'm in Townsville, not sure if you know where that is but it's very close to my home town which is the one that got smashed by yazi haha, I'm sure you have seen about where that is at some point on the news this year :P

If cheap flights come up, and I get the opportunity to see the GANTZ movies in the cinema, I'll be there for sure!!

Yeah, unfortunately it does...I find it stupid that it's 18+ for everything though. However, I don't think they'd be too strict on that honestly...at these film festivals, it's pretty crowded so they don't reaaaally have that much time to check for ID etc.
