I actually didn't watch the Nazodi, but maybe I'll try to watch it to review it myself. Usually, dramas from manga adaptations are not as good as the mangas themselves. Just like my favorite Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge manga; I was really disappointed with the drama. However, Hotarou no Hikari is excellently done. The drama is even more interesting and funnier than the novel itself.

Anyway, congratulations to Himitsu no Arashi-chan! That's a high rating! I wish they'd return the episodes in which all Arashi members are part of. These duo episodes are not as interesting as when they are complete as 5, even though sometimes they get a sufficient rating.

I really like how Sho-kun tried to protect Matsujun. It really shows how close they are. If it's not scripted at all, then it's really true that Matsujun is totally depressed with losing again.

I can't wait for AnShi. It looks fun enough. :) Happy anniversary to Sho-kun!!! You look old, darling, but still cute as ever. And why is November 26 too long to come? I'm so waiting for the Kaibutsu-kun 3D!!! I hope they'd get blockbuster!

NazoDi is not a manga adaptation but a best selling novel adaptation. I thought the case was too simple but surprisingly from those who have read the book said it's taken from the novel. I wonder what had made the novel more interesting than the drama.. maybe Sho is not as sharp as the butler in the drama? I like the drama but it does feel like Sho is too warm. I hope he learns from this. He needs to bring forth the arrogance more for the character.

The guy is pretty busy but sometimes i wish he'd get an acting coach.

this make me wondering if Ohno is the one gotten the role it would be so much difference in term of how he would portray the character :P
of course Sho is hot,cool and gorgeous as the butler but i thought his character would be much sharper but it does feel he is too warm unlike the hype about his sharp evil tongue lol xD
but at the same time it is also the problem with the case being to simple and bored people^^;

I'm guessing with text, the author has control over the pace - what to hide from the audience and what not. But with drama and visuals, the audience can piece things a lot faster.

Well I'm not really surprised at all. To me,usually adaptions from books are less interesting/less good than the book itself. So far, I've never seen a movie/TV show being better than the book( I'm speaking about books ^^ not manga)

The script and how it's written is also the main reason

The way the scriptwriter see the serie also '' changed '' the story. For example, in Lord of the Ring ''Aragorn is way more ''cold'' I would say, than in the movie. Less...friendly...

Oh and you have also all the fans of the books who won't be happy if it doesn't follow 100% the book. Some Games of thrones fan who read the book are disappointed for example, but there are thousands examples.

The scriptwriter (he is the same for the eight movie) of Harry Potter has Hermione as favorite character. If you look closely youwill see that her role is bigger than Ron's (in the end, and many book fans are displeased with that, Ron/Harry bromance isn't shown especially in the latter movies, Hermione do/say things they should have done or said etc.)

I know as a Harry fan, I was quite exasparated and disappointed with that. DX

I don't read novel but when i watched Nazodi.. just so-so for me....althought it was fun ... the character so interesting but the story not convince me much... and especially kageyama ... i think that dorama still not make him become the one who like exactly in novel?... just a normal bulter for me... but anw, i still enjoy it and can't wait to watch the next ep... because kageyama is my fav after Kamiyama... and hope the rating not drop much

ouch! harsh critics for NazoDi~ well people who has high expections are the ones who suffer the most~~ plain japanese structure for a drama~
i wished it could be more passionate story...i wonder what the director did for this show except by shooting it....man u got to pushed ur actors ~not just a little~ i will continue watching it~ i mean i love Sho so i will watch it anyway i have watched worst 1st eps xD.....expect that x next ep the rankings dont drop too much~ and obviously i hope the cases to get more exciting...so then again why this was one of the best selling novels?

awww im actually very worried about NazoDi rating next ep T_T
i do enjoy the ep and it is funny but actually i kind of have higher expectation especially hearing the novel is super popular but the mystery in the 1st ep kind of lame and too easy lol^^;
hoping 2nd ep would be much better and would have more interaction between Sho and Keiko...
somehow liveaction adaptation always ruin the original story and only some liveaction is really good or much better thatn the original manga/novel..
hoping the drama would do much better and maintain good rating<3

still haven't watch the nazodi but because of the genre i'm kinda looking forward to it...because of the high ratings for the 1st ep i'm kinda worried for the 2nd ep...hope it wont drop that much~but more hoping to maintain it's ratings... =)

and why do actors/actresses always get the blame when they are not the ones who wrote the script???not fair for them! i love sho-chan in TQS so i hope he can perform better here in nazodi... =)
