Sumimasen, I can't come up with a better subject :P

But I have some concert-related questions, hope that someone could help me.

Pardon me, for my following "tone", use of words...I don't mean it. I blame it on lack of sleep :P

o1 How do you exactly go to Yokohama Arena? I look at the stations, I got confused. Even when I thought I figured it out, I still can't convince myself. I know it is near Shin Yokohama. But there is probably more than 1 way to get there, so anyone knows the best way? Or you have your own way of going there. Please write it in a "baka's guide" way like step by step, because I for one, sometimes don't have sense of direction :)

o2 Con merchandise. Despite whether it is an afternoon or evening show, it is recommended to go early. What time do they usually start selling? And how it work? Like when it's my turn, I see everything, and then I go "ZENBU."?

o3 Johnny's Shop. It's in Harajuku, but where? And how the whole buying process go? I get a Q number? I get a form to choose the things I want? HOW? *starts pulling hair*

o4 Johnny's Film Festival. Is there one this year? Where is it usually located?

o5 I was told they are really strict with uchiwas. How bad?

I probably have a million questions. But hmmm...that's all I can think of right now.

I really appreciate if someone could guide me, or show me where I can get useful info ^^

Arigato gozaimasu!

I've never gone to any of their cons yet so I can't help you with the first couple questions DX
o3. [livejournal.com profile] winky_chan posted a lot of info about nearly everything even the Johnn's shop in Harajuku.
04. I dunno..
o5. The staff take away your uchiwa if something (even a little) sticks out from your uchiwa because there's a possiblity that it can 'hurt' someone.
If I explained something wrong..sorry..DX

Well yeah, you have to go to Shin-yokohama station. But once you are there you should notice MANY arashi fangirls .. cause they have always their arashi bags with them or T-Shirt on ^.~ When I went there for my first time, I just followed those girls XDD
But Yokohama arena is easy to find .. you just have to go outside the station. go straight until you come to a crossroads and then turn right. Go straight and then go up some stairs so that you are on that brigde and there is already Yokohama arena in front of you. Hope everything is right what I wrote, cause I only have been there once ^^;; I just takes about 10 minutes until you are there.

Well .. I'm not sure exactly about con goods. Think they start selling con goods 3 hours before the first con starts. There will always be a very long queue!! So better be there early if you don't want to be late for your con.
And they have about three stands for con goods. One for the goods, one for the uchiwas and one for the posters or so ^^;; So you cannot just say zenbu .. you have to go to all three stands ^^;;;

Film Festa .. mah normally there should be one .. but no announcement yet ..

^ Same here. First time I went to Yokohama Arena (to see Tsuyo's ReA tour back in 2002) I was almost at the station and started panicking, thinking I had no idea where to go nce I got off the train. Then I laughed. I realized there were doezens of fans on the train with me, so I decided on a group of girls to follow and just followed them all the way there. Same after the con, since everyone goes back to the station, too.

I'm always wondering what time they sell the goods, too. I usually rely on friends who get there super early to SMS me or call and let me know the line has formed and when they will start selling. But 3 hours before each show is agood estimate. And you have lots of time while waiting to determine which "kiosk" sells which items, since they have smaples posted overhead. You usually have to go to each window where the items are posted to buy those goods. Once you do it one time, it's pretty easy after that.

(Have to think about this since I'll be doing it myself in one week!)

I think Winkychan post directions so I'll skip that part - be prepared to do a lot of searching though. I get lost every time I go because it's on a small alley type street but don't worry, it's not a huge area so there's only so many streets to try.

If you get there when it's not too crowded, you can probably go right in the store. Arashi photos are on the basement floor, and other Arashi goods are on the main floor. When it's really crowded, there will be guys standing around giving instructions - they might make you go to the basement first. If its REALLY crowded, you might be given a piece of paper that has a time on it and asked to come back then to line up again. Then you'll be lead into the store when they're ready. If you're buying photos, there are two forms - I forget exactly what the numbers are, but I think one is for 1-800 and the other is 800+. When you're looking at the Arashi photos, there will be numbers next to them. You must get a separate form for EACH group and EACH set of numbers. So let's say you really like Arashi photos #20, 85, 802, and 850 as well as Kanjani8 photos #30 and 52. You'd pick up one form labeled 1-800 and circle Arashi, and put a mark next to 20 and 85. The mark should say how many of that photo you want (so 1 or 2 of picture #20 or whatever). Then you'd need a second form labeled 800+ and circle Arashi again and mark down photo 802. Then you'd need another form for Kanjani. Make sense?

If you want stuff that's NOT photos, you have two options. On the top floor, there will be leftover con goods and such. If you see something you want setting out, you can just pick it up and take it in line with you with your photo forms. If you want something hanging on the wall like a poster or an uchiwa, you have to ask for it at the counter. If the store is really busy, sometimes they ask you to write "1 Ninomiya poster" or whatever on the back of your photo order form. Once you get to the front of the line, you give them your forms and they get the photos and other stuff you want, then you pay and can go. If they don't show you the photos at the counter, be sure to check them when you get out of the store to make sure they got all the right ones. Hope that helps!

con goods...it better to go really early like 10am...and just park yer butt there and wait....because this year alot of TIME goods get sold out fast...they start letting you buy stuff about 145pm-ish...During dome tour, getting con goods was a nightmare...the Q was crazy...Yokohama so far, it's not too bad, but it's always better to go early.
