Kageyama who listen all said to Reiko who can’t have a suspect….. “notwithstanding, are you professional detective? your level is lower than rank armature.” he flings extreme words at her. .宝生家の朝。影山（櫻井翔）は、優雅に朝食をとる麗子（北川景子）の傍らで優雅に子猫のミルクをサーブ。ゆったりと時を過ごす麗子に、影山は国立署管内にある藤倉ホテル創業一族の藤倉家で殺人事件が起きたことをマスメディアが盛んに報道していると教える。麗子が携帯電話を見ると、風祭京一郎警部（椎名桔平）からの着信履歴が連なっていた。麗子は影山に車を出させて藤倉家に到着。麗子が風祭警部と事件現場となったバラ園に行くと、つるバラがからまる台座の上に高原恭子（山口あゆみ）の死体が鎮座していた。死因は絞殺による窒息死で、どこかで殺されてバラ園に運ばれたらしい。風祭は、現場の状況から藤倉家にまつわる紅バラの祟りを思い出す。紅バラの祟りとは、かつて藤倉家の長男が働いていた黒川紅子（建みさと）というメイドに恋をした。身分違いの恋に怒った藤倉家の人々は紅子が可愛がっていた黒猫を殺してしまう。すると、失意の紅子がバラ園で自殺。以降、このバラ園に携わる者たちに次々と不幸が襲いかかったというものだった。麗子が仕事から帰ると影山は興味津々。今回こそ頼りたくはない麗子だったが影山の執拗な食い下がりに根負けして、聴取の模様を話す。全てを聞き終えた影山は、犯人の目星がつかない麗子に…。「それでもお嬢様はプロの刑事でございますか。ズブの素人よりもレベルが低くていらっしゃいます」
