I don't understand the Tokyo Sports' article. We know that Ohno can act both serious and funny roles, because he is a versatile actor..

actors are rarely criticized (even if some do not have talent)
be idol is difficult, pressure to have their work a success, besides working in a few dramas. if every drama has to be the best ...
but the guys are so strong .... ohno soon showed them that can be a versatile actor

The part about the Miyagi, Iwate, & Fukushima prefecture fans being able to come to the shooting especially - the effort taken to bring them there without them being hindered & them esp. being able to have hand-shake & meeting with them - touched me a lot. I can only imagine how those people felt! I wish them all the best and that recovery will go on without much hitch in the efforts.

I'm sure if Ohno does what he's always done by being the very focused actor he is, he'll be able to do the drama series seriously. He was awesome as Naruse and Kaibutsu Taro (And he was pretty good as an Uta no Onii-san too =P). I have faith that he'll do fine in his future works as well!

i know that ohno has stick at Kaibutsu-kun role for so long and that role maybe its an "easy role"...
but why people can see his real talent who else in the world could played Kaibutsu-kun...for me l find these role "easy" for ohno and not for anyone else..
and i dont believe actor forgot how to play because for a long time have stick in one role..
arashi are so amazing for making so manny fans that suffer so much happy!!!

lol it surprised me people still worry about Ohno acting skill after all this time *_*
they should double check their material about Ohno roles more before Kaibutsu-kun happen and he definitely can act serious as well as he does comedy :P

there still so many people missing Ohno great serious acting of Maou and mostly their only image of him now is Kaibutsu-kun...
Kaibutsu-kun is amazing of course and Ohno nail the role perfectly and im so glad the role make him getting so much love and happiness from so many people so i am never regret he did the role^^
i am hoping starting next yr he will given more and more challenge to do many more interesting and difficult role that can only be act by him alone because he always make the role his own<3

i have no doubt of Ohno acting ability and im sure he will prove everyone wrong again and again...
people never stop doubting his skill every single time his new drama start and keep saying it impossible for him to act the role but he never ever disappoint..
he is brilliant in all his drama no matter what character he act as..
i can't imagine anyone else acting as Maou and Kaibutsu-kun and make them amazing character as Ohno..
i think Kaibutsu-kun and Maou is more than enoough to prove what great actor he is and he is extremely versatile actor :P
im sure it hard for him to come out of Kaibutsu-kun role because he have done that role for 2 years straight already but i believe in Ohno acting skill<3

nino then ohno as the best actors in arashi imho. not being biased. nino makes me cry in almost all of his dramas/movies. but ohno makes me feel sad/depressed in maou and laugh at kaibutsu-kun. that's what good actors are, to be able to make the audience feel different kinds of emotions. i really don't like tokyo sports. only cheap tabloids write these kinds of stuffs.

Yes, Ohchan will have to work hard to put aside his Kaibutsu-kun image. Didn't he realize that? Somehow i feel bad for him, he did amazing works like butai, Maou, UtaOni, and all people see is Kaibutsu. There's really something wrong how they manage this role... and of course who get criticism is ohchan lol.

I don't think they meant that ohno can't act. I think they're saying that ohno can't get his Kaibutsu-kun acting out of his system yet since this is the only character he's been doing for the past 2 years. And that they're hoping he could finally shake it off now that he has this new role. And I hope he does.
I remember when he was doing Maou, if I'm right... he was in a middle of that scandal thing, so I think that helped him go into the dark side or something. Maybe he needs a scandal now? lol
