Reiko who watched monitor, as watching monitor all day is not fun, so she called her household hat shop, Kotaro Fujisaki, she investigate and observes through monitor selecting hat carefully and have dinner with Fujisaki, Reiko names criminal that supposed to be by investigation… but. “Lady, are you kidding?” evil tongue of Kageyama bursts! 影山（櫻井翔）が部屋に行くと、宝生麗子（北川景子）が妙な形で固まっている。ギックリ腰になってしまったのだ。麗子は休むことを風祭京一郎警部（椎名桔平）に報告する。風祭は事件が起きたとなぜか上機嫌。何やら警視庁広報課から風祭の密着取材が入っているのだそうだ。風祭の軽いノリに、麗子は捜査への不安が募る。麗子は捜査の様子をそっと探ってくるよう影山に頼む。すると影山は、すでに手は打ってあるとテレビモニターを麗子に見せた。モニターには風祭たちが映し出される。広報課の密着取材とは、宝生家の力を使って影山が手配した撮影隊だった。事件は廃工場の2階を住居に改装した部屋で起きた。浴室で若い女性の死体が発見されたのだ。被害者は神岡美紀（桂亜沙美）。第一発見者は会社の同僚、久保早苗（佐藤めぐみ）。風祭は死体に目立った外傷がないことから、早々と自然死で片付けようとする。だが、早苗から美紀が複数の男に貢がせていたことなどから捜査は続行。また、美紀の部屋から帽子がひとつだけ無くなっていた。モニターを見ていた麗子は、映像を見るだけの一日ではつまらないと馴染みの帽子屋、藤咲幸太郎（田山涼成）を呼び寄せた。帽子を吟味しながらも、麗子はモニターで捜査を観察＆推理。藤咲を交えてのディナーで、麗子は影山に捜査から推測される犯人を挙げるが…「お嬢様は冗談をおっしゃっているのでございますか？」
