I’m former mixer. no ear monitor, no monitor on stage for Arashi, and band playing in distance, accompaniment music from front speaker without retroflexion… effect of microphone volume of 5 are different. this is technical mistake, and impossible stage that created worst condition. big applaud to Arashi who finish singing with smile
Jun-kun and Eita had shooting in Ginza this morning. 
FNS, sound people say, Arashi plan to do mix live singing and recoding sound. as to add on CD sound, this volume of voice and vocal come close to CD sound. but as orchestra mistook, they did flying start, that’s why mix doesn’t some along. as this can’t get out of tune. they had to sing themselves. as ear monitor and microphone voice were prepared assuming mix, volume of voice was quiet. as volume of microphone of each members are different. main part’s Ohno-kun voice hardly came in, as he didn’t have ear monitor, he can’t get right key. this came so bad. if you don’t have ear monitor, you can’t sing in such spacious place. this is true, as this time as we mistook, this came live voice. and they didn’t have ear monitor, and orchestra sound is too loud, microphone sound is quiet, this came to the condition any artist can’t sing properly. but I think they finished singing in such condition. this is truth.  however some says bad condition of mic, this is actually excuse of us. however Arashi was not complete live their voice singing but not lip-sync  ( I remember every year they have accident)  .

Ura TV guide <gorgeous cover is inside is gorgeous too> this week special 10 people appears. Tokio and Arashi gathered made cover noisily. why this 2 group? as new year’s day collaboration will be back 2012 new year’s day we get these 10 people.however this is group, each single work individually, the time we got about 20 min. cover shot, and at lease 10 shot needed for other pages. and solo shot and pair shot too. it we think so, we don’t have enough time. and we want to get comment. so the mission we thought. in the consequence is simple human wave tactics. so we asked 2 photographer, and interviewer are 10 people. we host them with perfect preparation. 10 of members appear to the site, and add to managers, hair make up artist, stylist and staffs of the show. “what numbers of people” (Matsuoka-san) in consequence 50 people in the room. we wanted make it simple, but this came chaos. 1 or 2 shot for 1 or 1 group. shooting was progressed by second and after shooting, interviewer dashed off. at view seemed alarms and excursions, after all all are professional of professionals. juniors and senior just get along, they handled our requested menu one to other. change costume  for cover is done for instant. then they line up. Oh great. so spectacular scene is in front of my eyes. however I was running around but I was overwhelmed. this is gorgeous collaboration suit for end of year and new year. please look forward secret project of center pages.  .

yes, i'm of the mind that we are finding excuses to explain the poor performance.after all, no amount of mic/earmonitor problems can make anyone sing off-key, that's all them-- 4/5 of arashi (Ohno was able to sing his solo lines in the refrain quite perfectly).

arashi suck at singing? i'm simply amused and that's that. my love for them doesn't even come into question.
what irritates me is when other fans feel the need to declare undying love and support as if half of the fandom will leave after a simple f*cked up performance. that's shallow. and criticizing other fans for airing their own opinions and for saying that arashi had a messed up performance? try unplugging those butthurt holes and recognize the truth. it was a mess.

people are always claiming their idols aren't perfect but when others actually say it, they go batshit about it. talk about immature.

For my opinion the FNS did made a mistake.
The orchestra intro was okay.
But as soon as they started singing you can quickly notice that there is something wrong with the audio/mic/whatmacallit.

For me their performance wasn't that bad.
Everybody knows its hard to sing and dance at the same time.

If some arashi fans were discourage about it, it's their lost.

I hope everybody can understand that it was impossible to Arashi to single well with all those problems, to them or to anyone. Despite that, they kept smiling and acted like professionals! Really proud of them! ^.^

Question to those who had watched the whole FNS:
Was Arashi's Meikyuu Love Song the worst performance of the night?

Anyway, I kept rewatching the Meikyuu performance again.
Oddly enough, I think it's going to be one of my favourite Arashi performances.
It showcases one thing Arashi do very well: Always giving their all and making the best of their situation. ^^
Always giving 100% even if the conditions and results might not be 100%.
A+++++ for effort. :D

Their manage to handle this thing bravely and their performed MLS like usual :)
It was technical problem that happened unexpectedly.
And about their voice I think all of us already used with their live voice because we always watched their concert...and in the concert is even bad because we can heard their breath hardly too while singing.

Jun-kun and Eita had shooting in Ginza this morning.

Yay finally Jun rejoins Eita in a drama (i remember how cute they were in kimi wa petto X3)

and for the FNS incident, i feel they show and teach us how to calm down at the very dangerous moment. as fans i feel sad too,people.. but being calm shows how mature Arashi is and the ones who watch that being calm too shows how mature Arashi's fans are ^^

and if you doubt Arashi's singing quality, i suggest you watch the last year's FNS while they perform [Hatenai Sora] live. yeah i know, ballad it's their forte. And somehow, if you sing Meikyuu live, i don't think there's many people who could sing it very well ^^;
well that's all my opinion :)

Goddamn, I think everyone on both sides needs to chill the fuck out. The performance was bad but it didn't make my ears bleed, it sounded like poor karaoke. The way people are acting made it sound like it was that scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark where that dude opens the ark and his face melts off.

Shit sucked, move the fuck on. People said there were technical difficulties, okay--getting super defensive doesn't do anything, and acting like you're better than other people freaking out by also freaking out "BUT AT LEAST I CAN ADMIT IT SUCKED GUYS WHY CAN'T YOU" is basically same shit different day.

And yeah, guys I don't see how that incident was in any way a conspiracy. To stan brings a little bit of crazy into one's life (I stan, I should know), no need to bring it to a whole new level of crazy.

The performance yesterday night was bad. But i feel that neither the staff nor arashi should be blamed or needs to apologize. As arashi was not the only one who had technical problems with their performance. And, i might be blunt but a skillful singer would be able to bring out a good performance despite any situation. I love Arashi, but we all know that they are not skillful singers. So why are we getting so affected by a single 2 minute performance? I believe as fans, we should not make a big fuss over it :) Just stating my personal opinion though :D

I just saw this on youtube and I think it's not bad. If you can't hear your voice, it would be difficult to match the key. Similar to going to the karaoke box with the background sound loud enough to cover your voice( I had experienced once,and I off key terribly ). I would say Arashi did a great job in the situation. They tried their best :)

I listen to it many times and if I sing along with them providing the missing main melody (try it, it's fun, it's like I'm the singer and Arashi is my back up -lol) it sounds fairly fine to me...somewhat.
If the others (who are doing the second melody) can't hear the main melody, it'll certainly screw things up.
Anyway, i'm sure our boys will show em next time with a real live perf...
