Johnny's Countdown
Dec. 26th, 2011 01:30 amHello everyone!
I'll be spending New Years Eve in Tokyo so I was thinking if anyone knows if there are stores that sell tickets to Johnny's countdown? Also, is there any chance of Arashi appearing since they're doing Kouhaku?
I also have a question about the fanclub. I'll be soon returning to my homecountry, so does that mean I have to cancel my membership or can the fanclub accept a foreign address?
Thank you so much in advance
Happy holidays!

Date: 2011-12-25 04:46 pm (UTC)For the fanclub: last time I checked they only accept Japanese addresses. (Because of the magazine, at least that's the official version.) I don't know if they opened the fanclub for foreign members, now that Arashi gained popularity all around Asia.
Sorry I don't have any concrete information -.-'

About Fanclub, I have no idea

Date: 2011-12-25 06:05 pm (UTC)I think it would have been fun to spend the eve at NHK though ;)

Date: 2011-12-26 02:50 am (UTC)Arashi will most likely not be at Countdown because Kohaku finishes 15 minutes before midnight. I think someone already mentioned that they were there via live feed. But you get to see almost every other JE group if u go.
You can't really cancel your membership, but once the expiration date passes, it will just expire. Our FC memberships must have a japan address. Your best bet would be to change it to a friend's house and ask them to forward the kaihou to u.

Date: 2011-12-27 05:44 am (UTC)But if you do go, one group is chosen to have a mini concert before the broadcast. I'm going to guess it's going to be NEWS since it will be the debut of them as 4 members.
I recommend that you get the tickets fro ticket.co.jp because the ones in the shop will be even more expensive (30,000 yen, at least).
And the FC does not accept foreign addresses. So you can either tell them you want to cancel, or let expire without renewal.

Date: 2011-12-27 06:24 am (UTC)Actually, I left Japan as well, but changed the address to a friend's address who is staying in Japan. By now, you can change the address easily via the Internet Fanclub page, so even if you have to leave the country and only find a person to help you later, you can still change the address in between. (But take care, you can only change the address once per month.)
Regarding the fanclub mail, (electronic mail) you can just change the cellphone mail address to a regular PC mail address and it still works perfectly = )
Since I have been in the fanclub for 2 years now and finally started hitting for events, I definitely do not want my membership to expire. If you ever plan to come back to Japan, you should definitely consider keeping your fanclub account alive. Because the longer you are in the fanclub, the better your chances will get. Especially now that the fanclub has so many members, you will definitely be at an disadvantage if you delete your account now and make another one later again ; )
But that's just my two cents, obviously there is no point if you are not intending to come to back to Japan anyways ^ ^)v
Good luck with the countdown!
