Arashi’s love saves Japan"!  Arashi ni Shiyagare special aired on 1/1 and Arashi is appointed to  this summer’s 24 hours TV main personality. every year personality is announced around spring to summer. this year members of Arashi starts 24 hours TV from new-year’s day for support and restoration of East Japan Earthquake Disaster that was happened on last 11 March. it was announced during Arashi ni Shiyagare. announcement on new-year’s day Sho Sakurai “as today that we mark new year. so we should never forget. we thought we have important thing to have to ponder once again.” he commented. then each member continue their feeling. their enthusiasm was talked. “last 11 March, big earthquake we thought attacked East Japan. people in victim area still work hard for restoration at this moment too.” (Masaki Aiba) “but still cold winter continues, and hardest season to victim area is coming. so, we starts 24 hours TV from today.” (Jun Matsumoto) “the past that we can’t get back, then that past we can’t do anything. but we can able to built new future. not only earthquake disaster, we think the various matters that happens to Japan now with you together.” (Kazunari Ninomiya) “this is 3rd time Arahsi does 24 hours TV personality. we will work hard with full power using past experience.” (Satoshi Ohno) for Arashi who did MC of NHK Kohaku song gest. they appointed to big role without having break. later aid activity such as members visit victim area will be held. actually this is 3rd time Arashi does main personality of 24 hours TV after 4 years at Olympic year 2004, 2008. and ,      
Last night never-see part of Shiyagare by audience. about Mayonaka no Arashi. A: as shooting is mid night I don’t think any thing basically. N: just like “it’s lucky if today's be fun” S: it was like meeting time 23:00 then next day 4am.  and other show we did phantom verifying show was like that too. we did only mid night such kind of show / Sho-kun that time touch lips all the time as he couldn’t get food. / Jun-kun part of Mayonaka, when he guess the answer N: more! more! close up camera! yes. we got the one cool. (Nino says “he is cool after all” all the time) / Aiba-chan part he hesitate to what to eat.  S: you will never get right answer. A: hey! he flaps Sho-kun with fan amusingly. A: if I were I’d say. he explain what he said. S: however it was pine mushroom. A: this is shiitake mushroom. this is typical. S: this means “after all this was pine mush room Kaachan” right?” then Sakuraba made “chan! chan!” end of gag together. A: this was gag to mistake Nameko mushroom as pine mushroom. audiences: er! N: actually he was 19. A: as it was sold at supermarket, I should have known it. N: you think how pure Aiba-san is! (to audiences)/ Nino part. Nino asked what Aiba-chan wants to eat. he requested it. but actually he asked to O-chan as well. Aiba-chan watch Nino’s gag leaning forward. A: do it with full power. audiences turned out. A: do another one! do another one. N: “do another one”/ this is not right. I do this one. but I was so surprised as Aiba-san looked so fun. / “do the Kaibutsu-kun” part. Nino got right answer, actually Jun-kun got right answer too. he passes roll cake to Jun-kun passing Sho-kun. saying “sorry bothering in front of you.”  S: it’s fine, fine, make as many as  round trip as you want. (he feels abandoned as he didn’t get food) A: as this is occasion how about give to roll cake to Sone-chan. (Gal Sone) audience: how kind you are! A: got bashful. N: you feel good with “how kind you are” S: actually this should Nino or Matsujun (who got right answer) to say. however you say who don’t have right to eat… Jun-kun show his teeth to camera if there’s no gold on his teeth. audiences: cute! M: what is cute? (actually he get bashful)  .
Ami Maeda-san (AKB member) yesterday blog <Complement> photo of Arashi cutlet and Arashi muffin. and paper bag (even inside of back Arashi mark!) / at shooting of comment. when they shoot comment standing up. staff prepare Geta (Japanese shoes) for Arashi, O-chan brought Nino’s one and pass to Nino.

I feel this perfectly. really, recently. well. but. last year I had various things. well, like men of the year of magazine GQ, called that? I was selected one of 5. this one Sho-kun was pieced in past. I didn’t expected I’d be selected. um. well, this is pleasant, well, but this year. this year err… I want to be nomal human. he he he as I did Kaibutsu-kun all the time last year. I don't get the negative fuss about NatsuNiji. It wasn't even the worst Getsu9 -- the one after NatsuNiji (Taisetsu something, with Haruma Miura and Toda Erika) was much blander, and had lower ratings than the former. Why only Jun gets the flack?

I am surprised they were actually able to release two singles in 2011 since they have so many activities. I really like that they are all around entertainers, dramas, variety shows, singers, news, narrators, movies, art. It really takes a lot of talent to be able to do that and be successful at it. Not only that, they helped so much with the earthquake relief. I really hope Jun's new drama gets good ratings, his last one was so under appreciated (I personally loved it). Thank you so much for all your updates and have a healthy and happy 2012!

about getsu drama.. I think that firstly they need to have a really good script.. because time slot and cast is not everything..in this case.
when story is just do so.. nothing can help..
because even Katori Shingo 'shiwawse ni..' with good cast and time slot had rating lower..and he is national idol as well.
if audience don't like something nothing can help.
(getsu is just 'fame' slot of popular romance drama.. and now all tv changed, and rating as well)

About the "countdown concert Arashi part was shot on 12/20" bit. Where did that come from? I don't doubt that it was pre-recorded - they removed the "LIVE" text from the upper right hand corner of the screen for the Arashi bits of Countdown, after all - but I'm curious about who confirmed it. ^^
