I'm quite sad that Jun didn't make it. (He's my favorite)

Though, I'm very much surprised Nino didn't make it as well. I mean, he's a great actor (he made me cry lots) and good singer too. D; I don't see why he didn't make it when Aiba did (no offense, but in terms of talent, Nino > Aiba)

the ranking is not in terms of talents but popularity and persuasiveness I think. In that case, Aiba > Nino

'talent' in Japanese industry terms means personalities who work in front of the camera as entertainers/actors/comedians/idols/model who frequently invited as guests to enliven shows or endorses products and what not. I think that's the definition :)

I only found Nino and Jun's ranking in the comment..after #30
It also shows their previous ranking last January, with Sho(7), Ohno(8) ,Aiba(10), Nino(15) and Jun(33).

i will try, i am not that good with japanese yet :) Hope this is right

first column = current rank(april 2012)
2nd column = before rank(january 2012)
3rd column = before before rank(october 2011)

for the last two columns they asked people some questions to know:
last column = popularity
2nd to the last column = popularity and if people likes them

sometimes i actually wonder....is Matsujun still that popular among Arashi?i don't care about rivality cause it's stupid to compare them,but somehow i get the feeling that after the Hanadan craziness, somehow the hype about him went a bit down...maybe it's just me tough

From what I've seen in concernet, it's not really the case...He still has lots of fans ^^( One cute little 10 years old girl was sitting next to me during BW Koku and she couldn't hide her excitement for Jun <3 So cute xD) It's just that before HanaDan, he was the more well known (if not only one among non Js fans ? ) now all of them extended their fanbase and have lots of fans. ^^

They do this ranking every month and I have to admit I was actually surprised Jun even made it to the Top 50. After all, Riida,and Aiba aren't that way up despite their movie, drama and promo

He did ''nothing'' (ansd he does deserve to rest after all those hectic months..)in April, especially compared to the three others ...1 CM, no drama, no butai etc.

So him and Nino got good numbers actually Oo

Sho-chan had lots of promo due to his movie/film, also ^^ So nothing surprising :DDD

oh i know he has lots,i see tons of his uchiwas in concerts,i wasn't just thinking about this ranking but more in general.I guess after bringing fans to Arashi people began noticing the less- idol like members more,that's why it gives me this impression (but happy it's just my impression^^).
Actually i'm one of the few non-Jun baited,but Nino/YTM baited.Jun's perm made me laugh XDDD

Haven't clearly gotten how they conducted this ranking but I think they did it every 3 months with a lot of participants. It is more to know if the talents is recognizable and if they were persuaded to buy products they endorsed.

This survey was conducted in January-April right around his drama run. I think Jun is still recognizable but migh have a low persuasion point. It maybe caused by his drama. While it was not a flop, his character was forgettable if you are not a fan.
