Questions for Arashians in Hong Kong :D
Jun. 3rd, 2012 11:29 pmHi! I'm coming to Hong Kong next Saturday (9th June), so I'm having a question. As Aiba also came here last March, I'm wondering are there any interesting places in Hong Kong that he visited during his stay there? Do you have any other recommended places aside from that?
Actually I'll be going on tour with my family. But I'm planning on spending a day to go shopping, grab some Arashi goodies and explore everything on my own. So will anyone be interested in doing meet-up? Maybe showing me around?? ^0^
Thank you so much!! O(≧∇≦)O

Date: 2012-06-04 01:45 am (UTC)As far as I know, Aiba went for an event at Langham place (a shopping center in Mongkok). Personally I don't find it very interesting but you can go check it out if you want =)
He also went to TST (near Avenue of the Stars) for photos with local kids I think. I recommend you visit this area cuz its reli nice and its once of the must-go-to spots in HK for the night view.
Aside from that, you should also go to the peak and causeway bay just cause they are the most well known places. Causeway bay is reli good for shopping. =D

Date: 2012-06-04 10:13 am (UTC)speaking of places to go, The Peak (as already suggested), usually people go by the Peak Tram, so you could try that
and for shopping, TST has some shopping malls, and you could also take the star ferry towards Central in Hong Kong island and there's the IFC shopping mall :)

Date: 2012-06-04 02:13 pm (UTC)My main purpose would be visiting and shopping in Mong Kok, especially for Arashi goods :D And trying some famous dishes in Hong Kong ^^ I really want to go to the Peak too, as it's really famous and not included in our tour T.T
That's just my plan though. As you know way better than I do, do you have any recommended places? :D

Date: 2012-06-04 03:14 pm (UTC)Maybe you can go to the peak in the afternoon and then go to Mong Kok. The peak is far from there. I wish I can take you but I can't. But I can at least take you around Mong Kok.

Date: 2012-06-04 09:41 am (UTC)Me and my family went there just last week and we visited the Ladie's Market (I think it's the same as Langham Place?) in Mongkok. Also we went to the Peak and HK Disneyland. HK Disneyland is in Lantau Island and this is where you can also find the giant Buddha. And, I think it's called Victoria Harbor(?) (where you ride the ferry to go to Hong Kong Island), my sister said there is a light show at night but we were not able to go because we were so exhausted from our trip to the Peak. And she also mentioned a, kind of night market, at the Temple in Tsim Sha Tsui but it closes early, I think 11pm? We didn't have time to go there because we watched a concert. Yep. That's all I know. I think?
Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy your trip with your family like we did! ^^

Date: 2012-06-04 12:53 pm (UTC)Only one more question. How long do you have to wait at the Peak? Just wondering as I might not be able to get there right after lunch though >.

And which part of Tokyo are you heading to exactly? :D
