Thesis help!

Hi~
I've always seen many fan asking for an help to the fandom for their thesis and now I can't believe today is my turn.
Usually people ask to aswer a quick survey to collect datas, but that's not my case ._. damn...

I'm going to write my thesis on the role played by j-pop and j-pop artists right after the Great Tohoku Earthquake in 2011. J-pop songs helped a lot of people, themes changed in some new songs, special events where held for foundraising or to cheer people suffering in Tohoku area.
In one chapter I planned to translate and discuss about various j-pop artists, while another one will be exclusively about Arashi.
The help I need from you is to collect ideas about which songs to analyse or about any particular music-related event after the disaster.

I know, this's not a survey, nor a yes/no question.
It's more complicated, but I really need an hand to gather ideas.

Definitely "Furusato" that Arashi sang during the Kohaku.
I think that's the best song to represent this =)

I believe Hatenai Sora it´s another great song and i´ve read that it actually was played on radios after the earthquake and people felt inspired by it. What are you studying? I find it so great you can discuss about Arashi in your thesis;))

The official name of my course can be traslated in something like "Mediation between cultures and laguages". You study culture, economy, story, politic and language of 2 nations and then there are also other subject you can choose between like contemporary history, linguistics, italian linguistics, economy history and so on. It depends if you want, in the future, to work for economy, politic, legal or linguistics areas.
Actually my japanese professor is a super-crazy one, he's like the italian champion of Pokemon Card Game, he does his lessons bringing with him an Harry Potter pencil case and in his studio he has the Middle Earth Map on the wall. And I swear, he's not that young... he just want his students to work on the topics the like. I like Arashi, so we searched for an academic argument that could be related to the group.

I think you should also try analyzing "Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi." I remember that they sang it during their surprise concert for the earthquake and tsunami victims back in May (?).

I'm not exactly sure where it was (maybe Kohaku?) but there was this show where they read viewer's letters. One or two talked about the strength they got from Arashi's songs and I think they also mentioned specific titles.... If you want to, I can check my HD for the file and tell you more then ^^

It was the end of year Best Artist but unfortunately they didn't mention any particular songs ;_;

particular music related must be arashi waku-waku gakuen in 2011..i mean they change their concert to waku-waku gakuen coz of disaster..and every goodies and ticket sell goes to charity..
or maybe vs arashi where they invite tohoku people as guest, and shake hand with them after the show end..^^..

for song must be furusato..or hatenai sora..coz arashi sing it in arashi ni shiyagare for tohoku disaster..
