Hello all! I just discovered the wonderful show that Sho and Nino are in - Yamada Tarou Monogatari. However, Veoh.com only has the first episode available with English subs, though they have quite a few with chinese subs. I've been looking all over for another place to find the show. Do any of you happen to know where I can find English subbed versions of this that can be downloaded or watched online? Any help would be appreciated.

the part are split you need to join the file with hjsplit then you can watch it also you should get the players VLC and BSplayer they play pretty much anything, Stormy team stuff for me only really work on VLC

I think what the person above me said is all you need to know -- if the files end in .001, .002, etc, then you definitely need to join them with HJSplit. After that, you should be able to play them in any media player that can read .avi! I personally always use BSPlayer.

ah on problem ^^. the srt file is the one with the subs in it. it only contains the text. you need to download the RAW files as well. each episode has different .001, .002 (or more) and SUB links to download.
but, i don't think DivX plays sub files, and i've never heard of ABC. you can go about this 2 ways:

EITHER download the hardsubbed version (you find those at the bottom, after the list of softsubbed eps, under the title "hardsubbed version");
OR you get a player that plays srt files. VLC would be a good choice ^^

hope i didn't confuse you too much ^^;;

ah sure. i'm glad i was of help ^^ yea hardsubs are easier to use since the subs are burned right into the video. that way there's no hassle with the players and extra files and such ^^

ah you still need to join those parts you download with hjsplit though, so don't forget to do that ^^ if you don't have hjsplit, there's a link at the jdramas comm. ^^

hehe yea the files are huge, so it'll take a little time before completely downloading.

well, if you already have VLC player, then there's no worries. seeing softsubs is as easy as simply choosing VLC as your player. all you have to do is have the video and the srt files in the same folder, and both with the same name (except for the file type of course) ^^ that's all. VLC takes care of the rest usually.

i'm off to bed now ^^ but if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask ^^

The wonderful Stormy Team subbed Yamada Taro. The subs are available on either d-addicts with hardsubbed versions on their forum here (http://aibakaland.forumup.org/). They actually have strict rules on uploading to streaming sites, so you shouldn't be able to find their subs on streaming sites (in theory, but people tend to break the rules). Were the subs you found on Veoh by Stormy Team by any chance?

i think arashi.vox has some rules about using her subs on streaming sights too, though i'm not 100% sure.

Arashi.vox does have rules.

But people ignores them.
And I think that's one of the reasons why she stopped subbing.
You'll only see her Ep1 subs flying around.

truesalcove, may I know (or maybe the link) who or where those ep 5 or 6 subbed videos are?
