Question inquiring about posting

arashi_onHello there! I have a general inquiry question that I would like to ask.
A friend of mine, who is a musician, presented me with a musical birthday gift. He created and arranged a trombone rendition of the Arashi songs: One Love and Monster. They are absolutely fantastic and I love them dearly.
He would like to share his work on SoundCloud, but when he read the terms of agreement, he saw there one that said that something along the lines of not reuploading music derived from other works.
Since the two pieces he did belong to Johnny's Entertainment, he was wondering if it would be possible to ask JE for permission to upload it. I told him that he didn't need to go to great lengths, but he would rather be safe than sorry.
Is it even possible to ask JE for permission? I'm under the assumption that JE is under some kind of management feud and any request sent via mail or electronically would more likely go unnoticed.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do?
