I hope you can help me with a few queries. I will be in Kyoto on November 6-8 and have just heard that Arashi will be having a concert in Nagoya Dome on the same dates. After learning that Nagoya is just a couple of hours away from Kyoto by train, I'm thinking of watching the concert on Saturday, November 7. However, this is my first time going to Japan and I'm a bit nervous as I know that the road to watching Japanese concerts can be a bit confusing XD
I've been reading some blog posts of people who have watched Arashi concerts but I also want to ask the community some questions:
1. Can anyone share their experiences of getting tickets? I know they can be bought at sites such as Ticket.co.jp, viagogo, etc. I'm thinking of getting help from meiling_arashi (http://meiling-arashi.livejournal.com/10422.html) who buys the tickets from ticket.co.jp. Anyone who has had experience buying tickets through this method? How does the process usually go and for tickets that have no assigned seats, how do I know which section I get into?
2. To those who have already watched a concert at the venue (Nagoya Dome), is it easy to travel to the place via train? I plan on going from Kyoto to Nagoya and back via the Kodama shinkansen.
3. How early do I need to get to the place? Getting some concert goods would be lovely, though I'm thinking it's not much of a necessity (as the tickets cost a lot already XD) Would it be okay to arrive at the venue an hour before?
4. Lastly, since the concert starts at 18:00, and will probably end around 20:00-20:30 (?), I guess I can safely catch the train back to Kyoto? (I've read that the last trains from Nagoya usually depart around 23:00-ish)
