arashi_onSome of you may have already heard about this on Twitter-- massive changes are coming our way with the way balloting is being handled for the upcoming arena tour, and it doesn't bode well for international fans or non-fanclub members. I've translated the email that was sent out today for those who are not as savvy with Japanese so you can get a heads up for anyone planning trips to Japan to watch one of their arena shows.
Ticket price for fanclub members (seated & standing)
9,500 yen
*For those who hit for tickets, there will be an extra handling charge of 700 yen.
Application Guide
*Both applicant and guest must be Arashi fanclub members.
*Maximum of 2 tickets per show per 1 fanclub member only
*Any child over the age of 3 will require a ticket.
Children under 2 will count as an additional ticket to the two tickets being balloted.
(For those requesting parent-child seating, children under the age of 2 will count as one of two tickets being balloted.)
In layman's terms: Any child over 3 counts as ONE regular ticket; any child under 2 can count as an EXTRA ticket, UNLESS you ask for parent-child seating in which case it will count towards ONE regular ticket.
*Regardless of whether you're the applicant or the guest, ballot application is restricted to ONCE for ONE member.
*Even if you're balloting as a guest, it still counts as part of the ballot application.
If one member attempts to ballot multiple times, or if you try to ballot as both an applicant and a guest, or you try to ballot for each other, all ballots will be voided.
In layman's terms: Let's say you are FC member A, and your friend is FC member B. You ballot for Tour Date C for yourself and your friend as the guest. Your friend can no longer ballot for Tour Date C as well because she counts towards your ballot. Likewise, you cannot have another friend (FC member D) ballot with your name as their guest. If they discover that your name appears on more than one application for that show, ALL ballots by ALL parties involved will be voided.
During the Application Period
These shows will be using digital tickets (QR code) and require all audience members (ie. applicants and guests) to undergo a face recognition process upon entering the arena.
Please prepare the following before you begin the application process.
- Passport photo (taken within the last three months) [ie. a close up photo of your face without hats, masks, bangs that are too long, etc.]
- In the case of a 2-ticket ballot application, the following information is required of your guest:
Passport photo, Arashi fanclub number, name, and age (in the case of those wishing to apply for parent-child seating)
- Email address
*Please be aware that you will not be able to enter the venue on the day of the show if you do not bring your smartphone with you. You may only use computers during the application process.
*You can register with the address registered for your Arashi fanclub account OR another non-registered account.
