Ok, so I'm hoping this is OK to post here. I've read the rules, and I'm pretty sure i'm not doing anything wrong but if I am, please feel free to delete/throw heavy objects at me.

Phew~^^;; Now, moving on to my question....^_^

So, I am extremely lucky in that I have tickets to see Arashi's last Dream-a-Live show at Sapporo Dome. However, I have a slight dilema. My flight lands at the airport at 1pm and the doors open for the show at 2pm (show starts at 4pm) so I'm thinking it'd be a wise move to go straight to the dome from the airport. However, I'm not sure if Sapporo Dome has storage lockers of any kind (preferably of the large variety)in which I can put my luggage (i'm in Sapporo for 4 days you see).
Also wondering if anyone has any idea how long the show goes for so I can inform the hostel I'm staying at of a rough check-in time?

Thanks heaps in advance for any information relinquished my way and again, if this is against any rules I very much apologise!!

Otherwise, have a nice day ^_^v

I would suggest for you to takyubin your luggage to your hostel. The airport should have a takyubin desk and you can specify when you want them to deliver your luggage to the hostel. So that would leave you luggage free for the gig. Hope that helps. If you want anymore info feel free to ask.

Ah, July 6th. Yay, I'm going to that one too~

Yeah, I'm only staying in a hostel for the first night but for night 2, I'd estimate it ending around...20:00PM (8PM). It's the last show and I'm really guesstimating (first Arashi con so I can't say for sure but...) it's from research + many people asked.

I'd recommend just shoving your stuff (how much stuff?) into a locker at Sapporo station (they have a lot if I remember right) and then jumping onto the subway to the Dome. It's about 30-40 min by train to Sapporo station from the airport (I think, it's been a few years since I last went to Sapporo).

The 6th, eh? I'll be there too! I'm on a 9 am flight from Haneda (10:30 am arrival); I wanted to arrive early in case there were any delays.

I second the takkyubin (宅急便) suggestion. D: I guess it depends on how much luggage you have. If its small enough to fit in a locker, then by all means, but either way I wouldnt suggest relying on Sapporo Dome to have lockers. D: I mean, its going to be my first time there, but In my experience luggage sized lockers at domes are, even if they are there, expensive and hard to find.

But if you do takkyubin, then you must remember to inform your hostel that the luggage is coming. D: Otherwise they might refuse it.

My first question is if you are on a domestic flight or an international one. Domestic flight will allow you to leave quicker than the international one where you have to go through customs/immigration lines. Definitely ship your luggage. You won't have to deal with lugging it around and it'll arrive at your hotel/hostel safely.

The second thing is check how far the airport is from the venue as well as how far the venue is from your hostel. Can you use the subway/trains/JR train to get there and how long does it take? Once you figure that out, it's fairly easy to map it out. Then allot time for exchanging money (if you need to) at the airport, picking up some food (because you'll be hungry!), and bathroom breaks for when you plan the Airplane -> Concert portion.

Good luck and have a lot of fun!!! I am jealous that you get to see Arashi's last concert! I get to Japan way too late to see them.

Due to tight security for the G8 Summit in Hokkaido, coin lockers at train stations will be unavailable.
and there is no lockers at Sapporo Dome.

I would recommend going to the hostel and checking your luggage before the concert.
Don't take an airport limousine because there are many road inspections.
