The company Johnny's & Associates will be making a series of movies, the first of this series will be ARASHI!

It was announced in Hawaii that the group will be making the movie, hopefully to be shown to the public some time in August.

The story is set in a large appartment estate in Japan following the lives of teenage guys today. The movie is promised to be a mix of stylish and funky and will have a different taste to that of other similiar movies.

Each member will be given a different character backround such as real gang type characters to prissy high class boys and street skaters. Sho Sakurai will be playing the leader of a domestic violence gang, he comments that, "I'm going to do my best with acting as gang like I can. The five of us haven't done acting together since our debut so we'll make a movie that the viewers won't regret coming to see." showing much confidence in his first movie debut. Arashi leader Satoshi Ohno comments, "I'll be playing the role of a really low confidence boy. He likes to collect and hide porn magazines but his parents always find them. He's a real outcast so I think my costumes and hairstyle will be really dumb too." But of course Ohno too shows confidence that he'll act it as best he can. It is obvious that the theme song will also be sung by Arashi.

Arashi have also just returned from their special event in Hawaii which has been a great success.

What was this event in Hawaii? I keep hearing about it, but I couldn't read most of what Jalapeno posted for that Japanese article about Arashi going to Hawaii!

Sho is my favorite now. *glomp* A gang leader? Hahaha. ^_^ I honestly cannot see that... and Ohno with low-confidence? Hiding porn mags? Hahahaha!

the hawaii event =
arashi was part of a campaign ("stand up hawaii") to promote japanese tourism to hawaii, they held some concerts there i think.

this movie would be interesting to see! i wonder what everyone else is??

I can imagine Sho as a gang leader. Just think abt his look on Typhoon Generation PV, the one where he wore a leather jacket (I think).

Wa... O-chan a hentai guy?! What a challenging role. Is this the role where he would be pushed around? (I read something like that before, I just cant remember where)

Ganbatte! I wish I could watch it. Hope VHS or VCD will be release.

yep, fingers crossed!! apparently it will be shown in conjuntion with the summer concert or something...i'm not sure.!

aiba's character will be based on v6's innochi story or something and either nino or jun will play either the skater or high school preppie boy

What is Inohara's role?

A preppie boy, kinda reminds me of the KinKi Kids' movie where Kou-chan is a rich student and Tsuyo is the poor one.

Sorry, it's not a movie its a Jdrama.

It's title is WAKABA NO KORO.

It's abt two teenage boys from starkly different backgrounds find themselves joined in a common search to discover how to do the right thing and find happiness in life. One boy, whose father is an alcoholic, works hard to care for his younger brothers, while the other enjoys the privileges of a wealthy family, but is starved for his father's love. Their friendship reflects the sadness, pain, and sometimes cruelty that can enter into the relationships between fathers and sons in today's society.
Takeshi (Tsuyoshi) 15, lives with his younger brother and sister and alcoholic father in a small Tokyo suburb. Takeshi works two jobs at nite to support his family because his father is in no shape to work. Kai (Koichi) 15, is the son of the town doctor. Their lifestyles are the opposite. Kai and Takeshi start off as enemies but become good friends. Izumi (Okina ) 15, is Takeshi's childhood friend. Takeshi likes her but she likes Kai. This drama is a trauma drama. Love, friendship, adultery, attempted murder, betrayal, etc.. are all touched.

I really want to watch this. I also want to watch BOKURA NO YUUKI MIMAN CITY.

oh i just finished watching Miman City today!!! it is quite good! it also has a very young matsujun and aiba acting there too (jun is very cute in this!)

A~... I envy you ;_; Where did you watch it? Were there subtitles? Yup, Jun is cute, even until now. There was this special feature in Za Shonen Kurabu it was titled Kawaii kara Kakkoi e, it is soooo cute. It featured Jun when he was 13 up to 17, because at that time Jun's 18th b-day is comming. On the ep before this ep, they featured Tsubasa when he was 13 up to 19 I think or 18.

i brought it ages ago but been really busy with uni so it took me a while to watch it, but it's good! yeah, i had chinese subtitles on mine ~ i couldn't understand that either but i had fun just watching them! *^_^* yep, he's cute! I want to watch the jun's version of kindaichi!! ooh really??? that'll be sooo cool to watch, i wish we could get shounen club here!!!

The style of Jun's Kindaichi is cuter and funnier (I think) than Tsuyo's Kindaichi.

Jun is so cute when he daydreams. I've only seen the series' jpeg clips.

The only Tsuyo's Kindaichi that I've watched is the last movie.

i agree! me too - i've also only seen the jpeg pics and i'm soo looking forward to watching it!
