A little update:

I know everyone's worried about Ohno and repercussions and I can't say what's going to happen with any certainty, but what I can say is this:

Tonight around 8pm I got a text from the Arashi email office with a regular update on activities. There was a confirmation of Truth/Kimi no Mukou e set to release on 8/20, with a confirmation of Kimi no Mukou e being the Olympic song and a mention of Truth being the opener for "Ohno Satoshi's drama".

Following that was a call for fanclub members to enter the raffle for seating at any number of the variety shows.

So it's pretty obvious that activities are going on as normal (despite the strange canceling of the VS Arashi recording).

It makes me less worried anyway, so I thought I'd share.

Thank you for sharing, really, honestly. I know fans will feel better after hearing about that, even with...the really weird canceling of VS Arashi recording...).

I'm thinking the cancellation actually makes sense though; how do we expect the boys to film an episode, acting totally normal and happy with something like this just happening (and Ohno under investigation?! *I* would be shaken up if I was under investigation for anything...). So hopefully that was just to give everyone a cool down period...

VS Arashi recording was canceled a few days ago. It doesn't have to do with this. Well, it's a given that everybody's jumping into conclusion that it was canceled due to the allegation. 'Cause normally people don't check their schedules on daily basis unless some "scandals" surface. XD

Ah see, that I didn't know--I heard it was canceled, but nothing about whens or whys, so that's good to know.

Which means everything's on its normal course, at least for now. *crosses fingers it stays that way*

MAN....you dont know how worried i waz for him!.....i really didnt sleep last night...i mean i dont know him or anything but still i really like ARASHI as a group and this is the first thing i did waz to check up on updates......im glad that so far everything is doing ok........lets just keep praying for Riida and for the rest of ARASHI and his family

After looking at the article and the photos it looks like a bunch of BS, those girls aren't naked, the one girl is in a really really short skirt, you can't see the girl's faces, but from the poses they were obviously hamming it up for the camera. It is all about them making some money, the magazine won't check it out, they just print whatever as a "witness story" and avoid any legal repercussions.

without the story attached it looks like hundreds of photos my friends post on their facebook profiles... questionable judgement when it comes to poses for photos I say, and that looks like about all there is to the "photographic evidence".

TV show recordings being canceled is pretty common; it happens with Gakkou e Ikou all the time. If you check the page at J-net, you'll see it being somewhat frequent.

It makes sense. I mean they always do say that it's a possibility that dates or times could be changed when you're applying for entry for anything--even concerts.
