[MOD] Ohno's Scandal Compilation Post

As we all may know by now, the Arashi fandom has been shaken recently by news of Ohno's scandal, whose details include rumours of marijuana usage and threesomes. But just as there are many people who wish to be updated on every single piece of news that come out about the topic, there are also people who might not want to know, who might even find the cluttering of their friends' list annoying and unnecessary, particularly if they get their news elsewhere, or if they just don't care.

I've seen this implemented in other communities before and it seems to work pretty well, so I'm going to give it a try here as well. From this point on, this will be the comprehensive post for anything related Ohno's scandal. If you have new things to add, please refrain from making another post and add them here in the form of comments instead. For fans to keep updated, you can either check back at your own leisure or track the comments to this entry. Any and all posts made about the scandal from here on will be deleted.

Thank you for this page, I was thinking how the information is getting disburse and it's nice to see that everyone will be on the same page. (no pun intended).

I hope the news about JE stepping in and dis-associate itself with the magazine publisher is true, it shows that JE is standing by Ohno and I'm pretty sure the agency wouldn't do anything that could jeopardize itself. I mean if they have supported Ohno and somehow he is to be found guilty of the drug accusation, it would make JE even worse. So, if they think there is a chance of him being guilty or there is an investigation, it would be better to 'freeze' him (like stop his work) then see how it goes. Thought it will hurt them one way or another, but it's less risky in their perspective Yet, they didn't do that.

Regarding to the threesome thing. I was really surprise when someone said he admit it because judging the article summary that I read, I don't think there is enough evidence to proof that. If I understand it correctly, so far, everything that had been said is from that one/two girls. Yes, he was fooling around with them, he can't deny that because there are pictures but after that, the part about going back to the girl apartment etc, it could come down to he said, she said. But what troubled me the most is if he did admit to the threesome is indirectly support the drug part which of course, is the bigger deal. So, I would think it wise to deny both until some new evidence shows up.

Another thing that I don't understand is why are those girls talking about marijuana and stuff, are they putting themselves in danger too?

Personally, I think it would be devastating for JE to lose Ohno, even though he doesn't really act like the leader but I think he is the glue that hold Arashi together, performance wise and with the other members.

Unfortunately, whatever the outcome is, some damage has been done, they do have fans at a younger age and even their parent so they would change their opinion on Ohno. Hopefully, the damage will be at a minimum and another way of looking at it, this could be a chance for Ohno to evolve, artistically and personally.

hi thanks for making this. hopefully it'll be more organized for us to understand all the updates. I've been e-mailing their radios, the ntv, tbs, etc. and i remembered that you could probably write on the maou website. I posted this comment in crunchyroll but here's the main part that i'd like you to add if you don't mind. It's websites to pages that bring you to the maou bulletin where you can post a comment to encourage riida.

Thanks for creating this! I'm glad I don't have to see so much information revolving around this because I really don't care. Probably because American celebrities get into so much shit that I'm immune, but I think Ohno will be fine and I really don't want to keep reading about this like the time Sho broke his thumb, which was sad but not that big of a deal. Grr, Johnny's is losing by more now... 47.9% vs 49.7%. It's going down more rapidly now. It's about 8 in Japan right now, so probably Japanese people are online. It seems to me that mainly foreign fans are voting here, idk why. Johnny's went way up when it was evening in America. Ohno had apologized in both Music Love program filming as well as during Maou shooting .. he apologized for all inconvenience caused and he had also denied both 3P and drug taking. poor ohno to suffer all these sh*t ~ he mus be feeling very bad to impose so much trouble to Arashi and the whole of JE. So let's vote for JE to show our support ! johnny-san rocks ~ for he stand against the magazine ~ !

So, that means you believe every word and picture you see in a paper?
That is kinda naive, I would say. Does those photos clearly state that he uses drugs? I would say NO.
It's not a rare thing to get weird facial expressions on photos (I have some too ^^' and I don't use drugs etc.)
and they may have used that as a "weapon" against him, right? Enough of speculations, though.
If these photos are true they only show that he is together with two girls but is that really such a big sin?
Come on, he is a healthy good looking boy/man and it is his private life after all. (Even though I would prefer
him beeing with only one girl...) Also, these pictures seem to be taken back in 2005. Why bothering with it now??

True true... I often wonder what the big fuss is all about when there's no actual picture of him having 3p OR smoking pot. There's no evidence and even if he did (which I really hope he did not!) that's his business. For me the only concern of the public is will his career and Arashi be affected because as a fan, I surely hope it will not be so.

I think I know how these rumors started. No to necro but I have a friend who has been claiming to be talking to the band through YIM.

She brags about it a lot and I've seen her messaging these people. The things she's told me involve that and that their private live is filled with S&M or D/s. It's really quite interesting and I fear that these people may indeed be impostors and helping with rumors such as these.
