Edit: I was so amazed by the high sales that I didn't think to multiply by 1.75, which gives us a total of 208,647! D: Thanks kaoriluff!

I noticed that it was posted previously under an f-lock, but the Oricon screenshot provides a nice source. :D

The actual first days sales are 208,647 copies. :D

"for those who are wondering...the 1.75 multiplier is because Oricon doesn't release the actual # of copies sold on the daily chart, but rather the "units" sold, so we estimate how many copies with the 1.75. The official # of copies is released on the weekly charts."

So the first day sales aren't 119,227, but somewhere in the 200k area, probably around 210k.

the "units" sold reported by Oricon is called "sales index"
multiplying it by 1.75 would equal to only an estimated actual copies sold

yup, pretty much beats the purpose if info like this is locked and to have reference from Oricon is much more apt than some obscure forum.
