Takki & Tsubasa

Okay, really stupid question, but who are Takki and Tsubasa and what do they have to do with Arashi? I've noticed they appear in quite a few clips from the beginning of Arashi, so I'd like to know what they have to do with our boys.

they're from the same company - johnny's entertainment. also, before when tackey & tsubasa and arashi were juniors (ie, before they debuted in their respective groups), they were juniors of 'the same era' and had a lot of activities together. a lot of clips you see might actually be from the juniors time and not the beginning of arashi. for example, there was a period when tsubasa and sho were paired up as a duo a lot. also, takki and aiba were especially close.

besides work, it also does seem to me that t&t and arashi are very friendly with each other. even now, sho and tsubasa keep in touch and send emails to each other, even though they're not quite involved in the same events and activities anymore, cept for like...johnny's countdown concerts and stuff...

Tackey and Tsubasa are a johnny duet...and yeps they are good frens with arashi guys...Tackey and Matsujun are really good frens and I always get this feeling that tackey wants to be a part of arashi...but that's just me

actually, i think Takkiwas supposed to BE in arashi but when they were calling out the names, ohno was accidentally on the list. In fact, they all stood up when they were called and Tackey stood up right before they said Ohno O.O

I dun think Ohno's name was accidentally on the list...because what happened was that he was called into the studio to record A-Ra-Shi...and he didn't even noe he was in the band yet.

In one of thier first MS performances.. or was it their FIRST?...

Sho who had lots of involvement.. well more or less, but definitely more than the other members at the time (he had some kinda mind as to knowing a group was forming and that he wanted to be in one.. But he had thought that they were only going to be a subgroup. No one in the group thought they were going to DEBUT, debut.

I think Takki was considered at one time but he was still just so needed to lead the juniors.. also, were aiba, jun, and nino in the top five or ten most popular juniors at the time? I don't remember where i saw it but i saw it somewhere... lol

Er, yeah, dream_raine's right. That is what happened. I remember him saying that he was confused because he thought he was just backup and yet he had all the solos, I'm pretty sure. :x

I don't see how you came to the conclusion that Takki was meant to be in Arashi and not Ohno 'cos that's just...not right.

Yaah...I dunno how can people get that impression that Ohno was accidentally put in Arashi...*huggles Oh-chan* You can check from Hey Hey Hey music champ talk..during their 5th Anniversary where the boys talk about the History of Arashi.

Yea I guess when Arashi made their debut in Hawaii some people(like a friend of mine who's a serious JE fan)thought Tackey would be the leader of Arashi but when they debuted Ohno was the leader.

P.S. Does anyone video clips of Sho and Tsubasa or Aiba and Tackey as Jrs? I bet that was soo adorable!

Ohno wasn't the leader when Arashi debut. Sho and Ohno janken'd for the position on a T.V. show a loong time ago 'cos everyone wanted Ohno to be the leader but he wanted Sho to do it. I remember it quite clearly, seeing as how I'm an Ohno-freak. I remember him being excited because he won the game and he thought he wouldn't have to be the leader, but him winning meant that he would be it and when everyone told him that his face dropped. It was priceless.

I think they were planning to put Tackey in ARASHI (the sugao 2 video shows Aiba, Tackey, Sho, Nino & Jun on a trip in Las Vegas, photoshoots, etc) but changed their mind last minute?

I have some really cute clips of them when they were younger that I can try to find this weekend. sooo cute lol
