Hi everyone
I'm going to Japan on december around christmas so I'm thinking that I might want to go watch the filming of one of arashi tv show.
Does anyone know how to participate in one of those programs? and maybe the year end concert?

Haha, good luck. I think chances are very low if you're not in their Johnny's fanclub.

IF you can join it. Because you need a japanese address first. (Or a really good friend.) And it can take some weeks to get joined, so unless you stay there for two months or more, no chance, sorry. I am also really pissed about that, and I'll probably stay in Japan for 5 months, but too late for their 10 years anniversary, it seems...

I'm fairly certain you have to be a member of the fanclub - they send us announcements every so often about how to become an audience member on the shows through the fanclub email announcements.

As for the Countdown concert, tickets for that are also sold through the fanclubs - however, you should be able to find them on yahoo! auctions as well if you don't know anyone in the fanclub. Just be prepared for them to be really pricy. Lately JE has been cracking down on illegal tickets - they'll search auctions for tickets being sold and post the numbers online of seat numbers that will be denied. So even though you might not get as good of a seat, it's probably safer to buy one where the seller hasn't yet posted the seat number.

Yeah, well, according to Minna no Nihongo, if it's NHK you want to visit, just call and make an appointment. xD
Eat a lot of good food, and if you have room left, go shopping! I have heard that clothes are not very expensive over there. Buy some cool stuff in Shibuya or Harajuku. ;)
And isn't there a Johnny's store?

ich persönlich bin ja der ansicht, dass es ganz einfach keine wirklich guten lehrbücher gibt. das is einfach unmöglich. irgendwas is immer, was hassgefühle auslöst. immer.

you definitely have to be a member of the fc to try to ballot for tix for any of the shows. it's really hard. i've tried and haven't hit for tickets yet. *cries*

As for the countdown, this will be my first time applying, but as far as i know u have to be in the fc to apply, and it has to be with someone who is in a different fc (u apply in pairs). there are also tickets available on playguide, and auctions are always an (expensive) option.

you should visit fuji (odaiba) and tbs (akasaka). There's a lot of stuff to do around there. Nitele (shiodome) is also an option, but I havent been there when there wasnt a festival, so I'm not sure what there is to do besides shop and go to a few spots where HanaDan was filmed in that area.

there's a lot to do in Tokyo, and a lot of arashi related things to find and see, so dont get too down if you cant see them in person!

oh! it is so damn easy. first, you have to live in japan. then you have to apply for membership. then you have to apply for balloting which is only limited to 50 people. if your balloting is successful then you can go down to filming and see the boys close up. i'm sure you can do all that right?
