Pikanchi Translation Project

Ok guys, I just recieved Pikanchi Double in the mail yesterday and hopefully before the end of the month I will have my hands on Pikanchi and here's what I realized:

*no one has ever translated these into english
*the dvds have japanese subtitles so I can translate it at maximum accuracy
*leet people who make free subtitling programs hate macs

So what I'm getting at is I need a sweet person who has mad subtitling skills to help me undertake this project. -3- onegai itashimasu!! <3 I don't know the first thing about video media so I guess any number of people will do <3

I really wish I knew how to do subtitles to help you out, but saince I don't I'll be cheering you on because I've been waiting for these subtitles for such a long time! *also has been wondering why nobody has ever sub these* If nobody with better experience offers, then I'll teach myself how to subtitle!!

I think the easiest way to do subtitles is through softsubs, which are essentially like text files with timing information. Not sure if this is an option you want to explore.

At any rate, you have all my support too if there's anything I can help out with! I've been dying to watch these movies, as I'm sure many other arashi fans are too. :P

Unfortunately, I neither know how to sub, nor know enough japanese, but I just wanted to tell you that I'm soooo happy already that someone is willing to sub them!!!

i think Kioku Konseki has undertaken the subtitling process too, but if you wanted to do it as well, that'd be awesome ^^

i don't have "mad subtitling skills", but i can help with subtitling ^^;; usually i do soft SRTs for my own purposes, made from scripts 'n stuff... SSAs are fancier 'n stuff, but i don't really know how to use those yet...

Have you seen MacSubtitler by Bruce Carlson and JACOsub (http://unicorn.us.com/jacosub/) (http://unicorn.us.com/jacosub/) for the Mac

but that's all i know of, seeing as I've rarely seen one let alone used one!

they said it once in a-baka forums and it was in the project section oo
now mylani said it is off... weird thing indeed...

maybe they took it off because pf taking other projects like Ichi littoru no namida or nobuta or produce o.o
