For any Bay Area, CA Arashi fans, Kinokuniya in San Francisco is selling Arashi photobooks, possibly due to the popularity of "Arashi is Alive!". Or just Arashi being awesome in general. XD

Other than "Arashi is Alive!", they're selling "Arashi Around Asia", "Pika**nchi A-Z", and "Arashi 04150515" (the Pika*nchi photobook). They're also selling Jun and Nino's unofficial photo books (forgot the name, sorry). There were more than a few of each kind left, so if you've been dying to get one of their older photobooks now is the chance. :)

You've never been? It's inside of Uwajimaya... you can find the monthly Johnny's magazines there too.

Haha NOOOO!!! XD I live in SoCal, where there's a Kinokuniya in Costa Mesa (which I almost went to on Saturday). Well, maybe they DO have photobooks there, I just haven't checked yet. XD Thanks for the info!

If anyone wants to know, the one in NYC also sells a lot of photobooks, too.

I think I saw Big Wave Arashi, Arashi Around Asia 2006, and Arashi is Alive (with Re(mark)able).
I'm sure there were others, but I can't remember.

What's harder to find are the albums and singles...

Oh snap, no freaking way. But it's probably hella expensive right? Too bad I'm a starving college student...

I just went to the Kinokuniya at Little Tokyo in LA today. They have some photobooks like Arashi is Alive, Arashi Around Asia 2006, and Big Wave Arashi. They also have quite a lot of magazines too. I bought the Dec. issues of Myojo and Popolo today. ^^
Sadly, I didn't see the Beautiful days single...T___T

great post, good looking out! ^-^ yah, i've been going to the Kinokuniya in San Jose, also. they set up some sort of Arashi SHRINE right at the door. they also have most of the photobooks & Otakara photo files :D

... too bad last time i checked, they sold out their shipment of Ryuusei no Kizuna :PPP but that's another topic... haha.

Yep, I went today, and they have all of those. Last time I went I bought Arashi Around Asia.
They used to have Jun and Ohno's Otakara books, but now there's Nino's and no Ohno's.

As of today they had one copy each of Dream-A-Live, ONE, Iza, Now, Arashi Single Collection, and possibly Here We Go, but I'm not sure.
I wanted to get Time :P

hallo... would any of you that recently visited sf kinokuniya know if they still had alot of the recent johnny's mags in stock? like the potato w/Arashi on the cover -- I've been dying to go but I'm stuck in midterm hell, and for some reason I have a nagging feeling that they aren't there anymore --;;

oh and there needs to be an sf je/arashi meetup or something!! I have only met one mutual fan at my college... and she isn't very nice :( I need some city fandom friends!! lol

They have all of the November mags, but no December mags. So there's none with Arashi on the cover, except TV Guide and another TV magazine. But they're not sold out or anything, Kino just gets them late. Nijiya actually has some mags before Kino, so you might want to check there. But the idol mags are usually pretty scarce there.

And I think there's a meetup being planned at je_us_fans right now, you should check it out :) last time I went to one there were no Arashi fans, so it'd be awesome if you went.

when i bought Potato & Popolo from Kinokuniya last month, i spent less than $9 on each O____O yeah. haha gotta pay for that import price, eh? if we were in Japan, we'd prolly pay about $5 or $6 for 'em :P

yeah, I think the small mags (wink up, potato, duet) are like 7-8 dollars, and the bigger ones (popolo, myojo) are around 9. I'm not totally sure, though.
