hello minna-san,

i had just remembered seeing an episode of one of arashi's shows quite a while ago and i think it was nino and sho in a hot spring and sho was trying really hard to cover up his goods with an itty bitty towel and i can't for the life of me remember what that show was.

i was wondering if anyone out in arashi fandom would know what episode of which show i'm reffering to??

I'm quite newbie here, and I've noticed how everyone is so nice and willful to help in answering to questions about Arashi, so I'm putting mine.... (I hope It won't be a problem) :p

I'm an Arashi fan since this summer (and it's all thanks to internet  because I'm Italian and It's quite difficult to gain infos about japanese music) :p

Anyway, I found in a wonderful website all the full discography of Arashi, and in another one, all the lyrics and translations of their songs... but reading at your posts and comments, I discovered other songs that are not listed in any one of these sites...

So I was wondering... are there other Arashi's Albums that are not listed in these websites?
Are there any songs that are not included in albums and are played only in live concerts???
Or simply, they also sing other artists' songs?

(The songs I'm talking about are: "Sketch", "Kako", "Tell Me What You Wanna Be", "Hitsuji wo Kazoe")

Channel V Battle of the Pop 101 for Arashians

Hello, this is soft_rain again! =)

In my other notice post, I found out a lot of people still don't know much about Channel V's Battle of Pop, such as why it's important and what it'll actually do for Arashi. So after long conversation with the very knowledgeable cassyclim8, we decided to make this FAQ post in case anyone still has any questions, (even if it's only going to be useful for the next 3-4 days =P).

First off, for the people that really don't know anything yet: Arashi is currently up against Kat-tun for the final round of Channel V's Battle of Pop: Japan vs. Korea. But this is probably old news to most of you, right? I'm sorry if you guys are getting sick of hearing about BoP. I swear this will be my last post on it. ^ ^'

If you have any questions about the battle, please take a look at the information that cassy has so kindly organized for us. Honestly, I was amazed when she told me all this, because I didn’t know as much about Channel V as I thought I did. Hope it helps~

i remember someone posting about japan music gran prix (JMGP) a few weeks back and i have been voting in it eversince. however there seem  to have a change on the nominees!

before, arashi was NOT included in the names of artists on the left panel. only 'EVERYTHING' was included in the list of the songs on the right.

Another Arashi quiz!

A long time ago, I shared the Arashi Obession Quiz, which I authored. Much much later, which is now, I have once again (out of boredom) authored a new quiz, which I call the Fairly Hard Arashi Quiz. Some questions are reasonable, while others are near impossible to answer. As always, the results should not be taken too seriously, since this is all in the name of fun. I don't expect anyone to get the perfect score, and if there's any corrections at all (since all the questions are objective), please feel free to send me a PM here in LJ so I can make the necessary changes.

A few notes before you take the test:
* You can look stuff up in Google or whatever if you want. There is no time limit.
* After each question, the answer to that question is shown, and I also provided a brief explanation for each question, so as to clear up the confusion.
* Feel free to share this quiz with other people. No need to tell them I wrote it. :)
* Feel free to post your results here! :D

BTW! In case you guys haven't heard, Arashi is up against KAT-TUN in Channel V's Battle of the Pop. The results show is on SUNDAY, 12NN-6PM in GMT +8. Yes, it's that long. Why?

This is because Channel V will show a video of each artist per round. So for example, in round one, it was Arashi vs. Super Junior, Channel V will show one video of Arashi and one of Suju's. After a video from each of the 16 starting artists have been played, round 2 videos will be played. This means, since it was Arashi vs Yui, a video of Yui's and Arashi's will be played. Note that this video will be different from the first video shown. So, in total, four videos of Arashi will be shown (Arashi vs SuJu, Arashi vs Yui, Arashi vs Ayumi Hamasaki, Arashi vs KAT-TUN), BUT the overall winner gets two or more videos shown at the end of the show.

I think that more than the competition, this is great exposure for Arashi, especially given the fact that it's their 10th year. So please vote!

ETA 10/22 @ 7:36 AM GMT: Brilliant edits, you guys! I totally overlooked the Hawaii thing xD And Jun sent his own application in! Dang it, self! :)) ANYWAY, so I just checked and if I edit the quiz, all the quiz stats would return to 0 and all your certificate HTML thingies would be void. >_> So I guess you can just manually add the score =)) Since the quiz is 30 items, if you got the Hawaii one right, add 3.33% to your score. :) The next question is a bit trickier since it's void, so just assume that the answer is NINO. So we're asking what Nino's favorite food is when he was in the US. :D 

ETA AGAIN: Okay, I edited it! The quiz stats are still there, weird. :)) Anyway, edited all the corrections so feel free to take it again! LOL. xD
