IDs for Variety Show Filmings?

Hi all. This sad news is making me think about my goals as a fan... My dream is to go to a variety show filming. I heard in the past that the studios only accepted Japanese IDs (residency cards, etc.), not foreign passports. Does anyone know if that is still the case or has changed?

Also, I had a FC membership many years ago, but it's lapsed. Could I renew it and just pay the 1000  yen, or would I have to reapply? It would be a different address now too.

And finally, for concert or variety show filmings, if a FC member ballots for more than one ticket and hits, only one person in the party needs to be a FC member, right?
